Every year, on the first Saturday in October, comic creators gather at their local comic stores for 24 Hour Comic Book Day.  Their goal: create 24 pages of comics in 24 hours.

It’s a lot of fun!

And a great creative experience.

In 2010, I attended at Empire Comics in Sacramento.  Lacking skill in art, I had to come up with another way of creating comics.  So I took screen captures of an emulator of the Super Nintendo Zelda game, A Link To The Past.

I used those screen caps to tell a parody of “Star Wars” which is probably funny if you’re familiar with either, but is definitely hilarious if you’re familiar with both.
